You, Will, Survive The Coronavirus

<iframe width="480" height="270" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/CAjdJJqVK18?clip=How to reduce loneliness:
Is it good to be alone?
But the mere act of being alone with oneself doesn't have to be bad, and experts say it can even benefit your social relationships, improve your creativity and confidence, and help you regulate your emotions so that you can better deal with adverse situations.
To reduce or avoid feeling socially isolated you should:
engage in a healthy diet.
exercise regularly.
create and maintain meaningful friendships.
join in social activities to meet new people.
learn something new.
find a hobby.
get a pet.
Combating loneliness:
What does the phrase This Too Shall Pass mean?
This too shall pass means that the difficult thing that you are suffering will pass away, as difficult things have passed for others before you. It also means that the great thing you are experiencing with eventually fade away and be forgotten.
This coronavirus will fade away and we all will return to our lives much better for the time we were able to appreciate being alone and enjoying the time we had to ourselves.

Do’s & Don’t Coronavirus
Close Contacts
Close contacts should stay away from a person with symptoms as much as possible.
Make sure shared space has good airflow, near an air conditioner or open window.
Face Masks
Although many people have purchased face masks as a way of fending off infectious diseases, no public health agency has recommended that the general public use them. Use face masks if you’re together with a person with symptoms and in the same room.Influenza A and B viruses travel through the air in droplets when someone with the infection coughs, sneezes or talks. ... Surgical-type masks may help block airborne influenza germs, and they may also prevent the transmission of germs from your hands to your mouth or nose.If you have facial hair, microscopic pathogens will be able to sneak through the tiny passages made by hairs. High Touch Surfaces: clean all “high touch” surfaces like countertops and door handles, phone and computer keyboards; toilets and bathroom fixtures. When In Public: Do not stand close to people who are sick. That may mean taking the stairs rather than an elevator. If you take an elevator, try not to touch buttons with your fingers. That’s also true for other objects or surfaces that other people may touch. Clean and disinfect those areas if you can. Otherwise, avoid touching them. Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze, either using a tissue or your elbow. Throw used tissues in the trash right away. When to Call a Doctor: People in close contact with those with the virus should monitor their health and should call a health care provider right away if they develop symptoms such as a fever cough or shortness of breath. Medicare

Medicare & You When turning 65
Medicare begin at 65!
1. Sign up for Medicare through Social Security
If you're over 65 (or turning 65 in the next 3 months) and not already getting benefits from Social Security, you need to sign up to get Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Part B (Medical Insurance).
You won't get Medicare automatically if you are not already getting social security.
We have a link on our website
https://www.InsuredMeds.com
When is Medicare Automatic?
If you already get benefits from Social Security, you'll get Medicare Part A and Part B automatically when you're first eligible and don't need to sign up. Medicare will send you a "Welcome to Medicare" packet 3 months before you turn 65. You'll still have other important deadlines and actions to take, so read all of the materials in the packet.
(If you live in Puerto Rico, you'll only get Part A. If you want Part B, you need to sign up for it.)

https://www.InsuredMeds.com
Full Benefit Age
Your FRA depends on your year of birth, and if you're turning 65 in 2020, it means your FRA is 66 and two months. As such, you'll reduce your monthly benefit by roughly 7.8% if you file for Social Security at 65 versus waiting another 14 months.
Keep in mind that while Medicare and Social Security are related programs, you're allowed to sign up for one without the other. If you wind up enrolling in Medicare in time for your 65th birthday, you can still hold off on claiming Social Security. If you do so, you'll need to pay your monthly Medicare premiums yourself as opposed to having them deducted from your Social Security benefits, which happens automatically once you start collecting them. But a touch of inconvenience is worth avoiding a reduction in benefits if you don't need that Social Security income right away.

Coverage Options
2. Choose your coverage
People get Medicare coverage in different ways.
You'll get lots of information to help you make a decision about how to get your Medicare coverage:
An official "Welcome to Medicare" packet with important information about your coverage options.
Your official "Medicare & You" handbook once you're enrolled and every year each fall.
Mail from private insurance companies, agents and brokers, marketing the Medicare plans they offer and our website.

Original Medicare
Original Medicare – Includes Part A and Part B. You can use any doctor or hospital that takes Medicare, anywhere in the U.S.
If you want drug coverage, you can join a separate Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (Part D) .To help pay your out-of-pocket costs in Original Medicare (like your 20% coinsurance), you can also shop for and buy supplemental coverage like a Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) policy to cover the 20%.
If you don't get Part D or a Medigap policy when you're first eligible, you may have to pay more to get this coverage later. For Part D, this could mean a lifetime premium penalty.
All In One Plan
Medicare Advantage – Is nn "all in one" alternative to Original Medicare.
These "bundled" plans include Part A, Part B, and usually Part D. Most plans offer extra benefits that Original Medicare doesn't cover – like vision, hearing, dental, and more.
Plans may have lower out-of-pocket costs than Original Medicare.
In most cases, you'll need to use doctors who are in the plan's network.

Medicare Advantage Plans
Medicare Advantage Plans are a type of Medicare health plan offered by a private company that contracts with Medicare to provide all your Part A and Part B benefits. Most Medicare Advantage Plans also offer prescription drug coverage. If you’re enrolled in a Medicare Advantage Plan, most Medicare services are covered through the plan. Your Medicare services aren’t paid for by Original Medicare. Below are the most common types of Medicare Advantage Plans.
Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) Plans
Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) Plans
Private Fee-for-Service (PFFS) Plans
Special Needs Plans (SNPs)

How Water Can Prevent Kidney Stones

How Water Can Prevent Kidney Stones &
Heart AttacksHeart attacks: • Most heart attacks occur in the morning usually between 6AM and noon.
If you have a heart attack during the night, when the heart should be most at rest, it means that something unusual happened.
Current research is indicating that Sleep Apnea can be to blame for nighttime heart attacks.
Sleep Apnea:
Sudden drops in blood oxygen levels that occur during sleep apnea increase blood pressure and strain the cardiovascular system. ... Obstructive sleep apnea might also increase your risk of recurrent heart attack, stroke and abnormal heartbeats, such as atrial fibrillation. People who have obstructive sleep apnea — when a person stops breathing for periods during sleep — have a greater risk of sudden cardiac death, according to a study published online in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. ... In that time, 142 patients died of sudden cardiac death.

Drink Plenty of Water
Drinking extra water dilutes the substances in urine that lead to stones. .You should also drink ginger ale, lemon-lime sodas, and fruit juices. The citrate in these beverages helps block stone formation.

Get the calcium you need: Getting too little calcium in your diet can cause oxalate levels to rise and cause kidney stones.
Why Drinking Water is Important:
Drinking water at a certain time maxims the effectiveness of the body.
Drinking water at bedtime will also help prevent nocturnal leg cramps.
Your leg muscles are seeking hydration when they cramp and you wake up with what is called a Charliehorse.
What About Aspirin?
• If you take a baby aspirin once a day, also take one at night.
The reason: aspirin has a 24 hour “half-life”; since most heart attacks occur in the early morning hours, aspirin would still be in your system.
Aspirin lasts a long time in your medicine cabinet for years. Keep some aspirin by your bedside.
Why? Because heart attacks happen most while you are still in bed.
Side effects and complications of taking aspirin include Stroke caused by a burst blood vessel. While daily aspirin can help prevent a clot-related stroke, it may increase your risk of a bleeding stroke (hemorrhagic stroke). Gastrointestinal bleeding.
